Tartan Sash I Am Looking For Help In Identifying A Tartan For My Sister's Wedding,we Have The Tartan But Want To Id Clan

I am looking for help in identifying a tartan for my sister's wedding,we have the tartan but want to id clan - tartan sash

Hey - My father died recently in honor of my sister is a Scottish wedding - we were Tartan as a group that has the festival's board game, but both my grandparents are gone and we do not much information on the problem tree in progress - we have Dunlap, Irvine and Armstrong identified in our line, but none of them seem to have the tartan - Just Want to ID it and maybe on the right track - I can help a photo of it or if someone knows someone in the NE Pa area - in the vicinity of Philadelphia, where I think - what would really help - I thank you for the send - Help.

Check out the links posted below, I believe, the first is devoted to Scotland, there are all kinds here. The second is dedicated to tartan, very informative, just use the navigation bar on the side, I see myself at the MacArthur tartan, I could not think of another name, it is amazing what I learned there. I hope that helps.

Well, sometimes people wear regional tartans that is, they are not connected with the clans only regions or cities.
You can, through this website meet your search "Tartan"

Note that the "authorities of the clan tartans identified several for each clan - not only the region but also in function. For example, I saw the dress MacPherson clan blankets, quilts hunting and traditional paintings and tiles from certain regions or sectors.
